HOUSE X understands that buying a home is one of the most important investments that you will ever make. We empower home enthusiasts with data and resources to make more informed decisions when making a home purchase because only you know when you have found the right home. We add value by investing a majority of the traditional commission on your behalf to make your new home as efficient and affordable as possible. We believe an energy efficient home costs less to own, operate, protect and maintain.
We determine the most cost-effective energy and intelligence areas of the home/services to invest on behalf of the homebuyer. Typically, the benefit to the home buyer is 2 to 5 years of zero electricity payments. Therefore, making the home more affordable to operate at zero cost to the home buyer.
A majority of the typical broker commission goes back to the buyer in the form of energy payments.
Each home is unique. Every household is unique, too. The calculation is based on numerous factors including the size of the home, energy efficiency, equipment, electronics, home intelligence, cost of energy, number of people living in the home, seller incentives and the cost of the home. Typically, the benefit to the home buyer is 2 to 5 years of zero electricity payments.
There is ZERO obligation to renew or extend the electricity contract; you can cancel the service at any time.

A zero-energy home is a house with zero net consumption, meaning the total amount of energy used by the home on an annual basis is roughly equal to the amount of renewable energy created on site or by offsite renewable sources that are distributed by the electrical grid.
Traditional homes and buildings consume 40% of the total fossil fuel in the US and European Union and are significant contributors to greenhouse gases. The zero net energy consumption principle is viewed as a means to reduce carbon emissions and reduce dependence on fossil fuels. The zero-energy goal has become more practical as the costs of alternative energy technologies increase in performance and decrease as costs of traditional fossil fuels are turbulent. The development of modern zero energy homes became possible largely through the progress made in energy and construction technologies and techniques.
Renewable energy is energy that is collected or harvested from renewable sources, which are naturally replenished on a human timescale, such as sunlight, wind, rain, tides, waves, and geothermal heat. Renewable energy often provides energy in three important areas: electricity generation, air and water heating/cooling and transportation. Worldwide investments in renewable technologies increased to more than US$286 billion in 2015 providing over 7.7 million jobs.
